Danish guitarist and composer Mikkel Ploug has performed all over Europe with his group Mikkel Ploug Group feat. Mark Turner. He has recorded two albums for Fresh Sound New Talent label and appeared as an opening act for Wayne Shorter. He writes music for Mikkel Ploug Group & Trio, Sissel Vera Pettersen-Mikkel Ploug-Joachim Badenhorst Trio and is currently living partly in Copenhagen and partly in Berlin.

Recorded and mixed by Petter Samuelsson at The Old Danish Radio Studios, Copenhagen, Denmark, on November 17 & 19, 2009.

Mastered by Morten Bue at Audiofarm Copenhagen, on March 9, 2010.

The compositions on this album were written in four different locations represented by the shadow paintings in the booklet. Everything was recorded in one room with no overdubs or edits.
